MIND-WARPING SPEEDS ON
6S LIPO POWER!

Take the award-winning and much-loved HPI Savage and replace the fire-breathing nitro engine with an overpowered electric motor – what do you get? The Savage Flux HP: a backflipping, super-fast monster of an electric truck! If you think the Savage X 4.6 is the wildest monster truck we’ve got, the Savage Flux HP is its electric twin! Powered by the awesome Flux Tork 2200 motor and twin battery packs for up to 6S of LiPo power, you will be pulling wheelies at the twitch of a finger, and getting air like nobody’s business!

Easy plug-and-go convenience is the hallmark of electric RC trucks, and the Savage Flux HP is no different. Just plug in two matching battery packs and you are off and running! The Flux ELC-6S speed controller can handle massive amounts of power, and you can fit in up to 16 NiMH cells or 2 LiPo batteries (either 2S or 3S type). Want to break the speed limit with your monster truck? With the Savage Flux HP it’s super-easy! With 2 3S LiPo batteries and on-road tires like our #4729 or #4731 mounted Phaltlines you can hit 62 mph (100km/h) with the pull of a trigger! The Savage Flux HP is equipped with as many super heavy-duty option parts as we could fit in, just so it can handle the power of the Flux Tork 2200 motor. We’ve equipped it with an all-metal gear transmission, steel spur gear, super heavy-duty dogbones, machine cut diff gears, 2.5mm TVP chassis plates, 3mm 7075 motor plate and dual 8mm billet motor clamps!

The Savage Flux HP is based on the already awesome Savage X chassis, and features a low-mounted Flux Tork 2200Kv motor in place of the big-block nitro engine, a powerful Flux ELC-6S speedo in place of the fuel tank, and twin battery boxes hanging on the outside to hold a variety of battery types. Power your Savage Flux HP with either NiMH batteries from 6- to 8-cell size, or dual LiPo batteries with 2S 7.4v or a whopping 3S 11.1v power! Everything else from the Savage X is carried over, including the tough all-metal gear drivetrain, extra-powerful metal-gear servo, machine-cut diff gears and legendary Savage suspension parts and shock towers for extreme durability! The lighter weight of the Savage Flux HP allows us to use just a single nylon shock at each corner, in BIG BORE size for excellent control and traction on any surface. The Savage Flux HP is loaded with new and exciting features, read on to find out more!

EASY TO DRIVE!

The Savage Flux HP is super-easy to drive and get familiar with – to drive, simply pick up the controller with your left hand, put your left index finger into the trigger area, and then put your right hand on the steering wheel – it’s as natural as driving a real car! Turn the wheel to go left and right and gently pull on the trigger with your left index finger to go forwards. To brake the truck and come to a stop, gently push away from you with your left index finger. It takes just seconds to get used to driving an RC car, and soon you’ll be doing speed runs and jumps with ease!

LEGENDARY SAVAGE DURABILITY

After over a decade of thrilling serious RC bashing performance, the HPI Savage has earned a reputation for being the toughest monster truck you can find. A pair of 2.5mm thick aluminum Twin Vertical Plates (TVP) provide the backbone of the Savage, and a thick 7075 aluminum motor plate holds the super-powerful Flux Tork 2200 motor in place. The Savage suspension is ultra-tough, with super-thick webbed suspension arms and uprights built to handle gigantic jumps, rough landings, rolls and full-speed crashes. Super heavy-duty, bulletproof drivetrain parts like thick steel dogbones, all-metal transmission gears, machined steel diff gears and metal diff cases make sure drivetrain can handle all the power of the Flux Tork 2200 motor. Huge Big Bore dual-stage oil-filled shocks tame the roughest landings and terrain, giving you total control at all times! The Savage Flux HP is simply the toughest electric monster truck you’ll ever find!

Providing the power for the Savage Flux HP is a super-powerful HPI Flux brushless system, consisting of the Tork 2200 motor and Flux ELC-6S speed controller – both wholly impressive in their own right, but together they form an unstoppable power force!

The Flux Tork 2200 features the coolest motor case we’ve ever seen, with massive machined cooling fins that really make it look the part of an all-out power plant! With a 5mm motor shaft it can fit the upcoming optional pinion gears so you can get even MORE top speed for those insane runs, or gear it down a bit for increased acceleration on the track. The Tork 2200 is held down to the 3mm 7075 aluminum motor plate with two aluminum clamps so it won’t move or shift under the immense amount of torque it can pull.

Please see our note below recommending LiPo batteries above 4000mAh and 25C to get the most out of the electronics in the Vorza Flux HP.

Controlling the Tork 2200 motor is the Flux ELC-6S electronic speed controller, the most powerful brushless speed controller we could fit in the Vorza Flux HP. With the ability to handle twin 3S LiPo batteries (that’s a total of 6S LiPo power!) it can deal with anything the Tork 2200 motor can dish out! 6.5mm bullet connectors secure the motor wires for loss-free connection to the 12-gauge wires, and to connect to each battery pack we’ve attached two real Dean’s connectors for zero power loss and total efficiency. We figured why re-invent the wheel and release our own connector when the best is already available? Topping off the versatility of the speedo (literally) is an integrated cooling fan, which allows the speedo to operate at its ideal temperature.

Input voltage: MIN 2s LiPo, MAX 6s LiPo
Max continuous amperage: 120A (full throttle continuous operation with cooling airflow)
BEC specifications: User selectable output between 5 and 7 volts
Brake: Proportional
Reversible: Yes – with lockout
Size: L 47mm (1.86″), W 56mm (2.19″), H 34mm (1.33″)

Finally, you have the ability to easily connect it to your computer for total programming control! With our #100573 USB Programming Kit you can connect the ELC-6S to any Windows-based PC to control all the various facets of its power delivery, braking, throttle curves, battery cut-off and much more. You can also save various profiles to have profiles for racing, insane speed runs, stunts, fun running and more.

Motor and Battery Combinations
The Flux Tork Brushless Motors requires very powerful batteries to get the most out of them – please make sure that you use the right combination! HPI highly recommend the use of LiPo batteries above 4000mAh and 25C. Using batteries with lower ratings, or the use of lower quality LiPo batteries, may cause damage to battery and/or speed control. Using batteries below the specified ratings may void the warranty of the speed controller and/or batteries. The term Kv refers to the number of RPMs that the motors will try to deliver per volt applied, and is a standard term for brushless motor power.
